Strange things happen on my mind

And long forgotten thoughts are rising up from deep within
A trip to the dark side of me

Losing control, shadows and sins, they’re gathering
Unleash the demon’s evil words
Why did it start, when will it end, this suffering
A dark discovery, a curse

Thoughts are chasing on and on
A shadow to a shape
Ruling over space and time
The Master in this game
Turns seconds to days

What I put in oblivion
now stands face to face

and I feel the flames

Visions repeating
A dream within a dream within a dream

I scream but no-one hears

Unconscious – reality – deep in me
scratching my fragile surface
And the fragments of my past prevail
Inner thoughts rush to exhale
Kept behind the memories
A former me evokes

Seasons changing time goes on
Nothing stays the same
Something wicked in glazing eyes
The Madman in this game
Turns seconds to days

I hear the inner voice that’s always asking why
And my consciousness that’s telling to deny

Just like a teardrop in the ocean slowly disappears
Just like the world outside the windows changes with the years
Traces remain!

I still wait, I still wait
For a sign beyond my fate
Concentrate, illuminate,
Reflections on the window

Hunting false morality
Lead me to insanity
Create a darker side of me
The wounds I fear to grow

How it feels when worlds collide
Not just me, it’s us inside
Turning to the past in life
A traveller in time
